I was getting a little upset with my girlfriend, but we’d been together for some time & it’s like he’s been getting comfortable… I can’t remember the last time my good friend and I did anything fun together, and I’ve also been feeling so run down because of work, then my good friend and I both have demanding jobs & barely have time to unwind! So, you can only imagine the last time my good friend and I did something fun as a couple.
I think my girlfriend felt my apprehension because last week she surprised me with a short trip. Since there was an upcoming holiday weekend, she had found this lovely lodge for us to enjoy. My good friend and I packed & left on a Friday night hoping to get there before it got too dark. I must say I loved everything about this lodge including the remote ambience; The rental agent assured us it had a reliable boiler to keep us warm. It’s late fall & the snow is yet to come, but, days are getting frigid so my good friend and I find ourselves turning on the boiler to stay warm. My girlfriend was surprised to find the boiler running when my good friend and I went inside. It seemed the agent wanted us to feel warm when my good friend and I arrived since it was already late in the night. I also loved that the lodge had a humidifier to combat any dry air. Winters are amazing & make the landscape look so magical… However, since my good friend and I have to heat the house for a better part of the day, one major issue my good friend and I face is dry air. A humidifier is a good solution which also ensures my good friend and I don’t face concerns like dry skin & itchy eyes.
