How I survived last night is beyond me, however it was the crucial night for Carnaval in my village & the locale was bustling with people.
It was so crowded at one point that I couldn’t get from the beach back to my site, which is only normally a five minute walk through the small downtown area.
There was a parade going up & down all of the streets & the whole thing was blocked off, so there was literally no way to get home, however my pal and I ended up going into a restaurant & eating a pizza while the parade continued. Local businesses were all slammed except this site, which was a really nice Italian locale with nice a/c & a good Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system overall. My pal and I got two beers & shared a pizza & it only cost us $20, well undoubtedly 20 euros, but I don’t have the euro key on my keyboard. After my pal and I ate, my bandmate ran to the train & I went dwelling & collapsed. I have to toil today at the heating & cooling dealership for a while & after that I am going with my Heating, Ventilation, & A/C rep acquaintance to look at a commercial ductwork task my pal and I have to do next week. There will still be a lot of people here however then in two more days there won’t be a soul on the streets. It should be stressed at the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C business for the next two days with the sale my pal and I are having on our HEPA filters & smart temperature controls. Other than that the village will shut down this week.
