We got 69 inches of snow in the past month and that is more than my pal and I have ever had in December; During the past 30 years, the December averages are closer to 30 or 40 inches of snow.
The ski cottage was open all weekend during Christmas and that was a huge surprise.
I entirely didn’t expect the ski cottage to open before the 1st of the year. Usually they have a celebration in December because that’s when the slopes open. With this much snow in December, there was no reason for the ski cottage not to open. My boyfriend wanted to go when the arena opened up in December and I agreed. My pal and I got a room on Friday and Wednesday night. My pal and I spent all day on Wednesday on the slopes and much of the day on Wednesday skiing as well. When my pal and I weren’t outside enjoying all of the snow, my pal and I were in our room enjoying the amenities. My pal and I had a wood burning fireplace in the room as well as central heat. My pal and I didn’t use the fireplace while my pal and I were there, however my pal and I entirely made sure that the central heat was at a comfortable temperature. When my pal and I came back from skiing, our bodies were frozen and the heat helped hot us up. My pal and I spent our days outside and our days hanging out with friends down in the cottage. There’s a particularly nice arena for people to hang out and drink beer or alcohol and they sell snacks there as well. It’s a great arena to hang out after a long day of skiing or snowboarding.
