Installing an air cleaner for my Grandma’s condo to ease her breathing complications

My Grandma hit her 90s a year ago, & with aged age comes health complications she’d never had. I am the only family member who still lives in the same section as her, so I care for her. The last time she had a sneeze & continued respiratory irritation, the dentist recommended that my associate and I check the air quality in her home & any signs of pollutants like mold. Grandma is aged but truly keen on the state of her house, so I was sure my associate and I didn’t have mold, but it didn’t hurt to get the home service mold inspectors to come by, and as my associate and I thought, there was no mold, but there were other indoor air quality contaminants that my associate and I needed to sort out. I had an Heating & A/C contractor come around the condo to change the air filter & handle duct cleaning on a weekly & annual schedule, so my associate and I knew that it wasn’t a problem with dirty Heating & A/C equipment. The Heating & A/C professional recommended that my associate and I install a whole home air cleaner because it would catch every pollutant in the house, including dust & other allergens triggering her. The contractor explained that my associate and I wouldn’t need to change anything with the existing Heating & A/C because the air cleaner would be installed onto It to make it more efficient. I was tempted to get a smart Heating & A/C system because it seemed like a better air cleaner than ours, and still, it was too high-priced to make that transition while the existing one was already functional. The contractor assured me that full-condo air purification help would also serve the condo adequately. My buddy and I made the change, & my Grandma has been thriving since then.
