Getting the office manager to install an air purification system for the old stuffy office

Before I started working remotely, my last job was based in an old office complex with a faulty HVAC.

The HVAC professional had become a familiar face around the office area, always fixing the old HVAC equipment the landlords refused to fix.

We used to change the air filter for our office every month, but the indoor air quality still smelt stuffy, and every trial to get every office to pay an HVAC technician for duct cleaning did not bare anything. During the dusty seasons, I would get allergic reactions so bad my ears were ringing from the multiple sneezing that couldn’t be helped. Eventually, we got a new manager who decided we needed to sort out the problem, at least for ourselves. The solution was to get an air purification system that would handle the needs of our office on a friendly budget. None of us had experienced an air purification unit, let alone a smart HVAC system, so we had to find out from the experience what it would mean for us to have air purification help at the office. Our manager had a whole home air purification system at his house, so he was sure that whatever equipment we got would be efficient in making the office more habitable. We didn’t have to sign in for the home service to fix our air quality issues because the heating and cooling expert was familiar with our office and the type of problem we were trying to resolve. We got more luck that the kind of purification system we needed for the office was available and ready to be fixed within hours. From then on, we all enjoyed our office space and even influenced the other offices in the building to get a similar solution.
