So this is the time of year when I entirely get my studying plus dwelling chores done, it’s mid June plus where I live, you better have a interest indoors at this time of year.
The only time it’s okay for me to get out of the A/C is the early afternoon or the late night… Going outside at this time of year around here can be dangerous for an seasoned guy like me.
I’m now just about to be 72, however while I’m in wonderful shape for this age, I still have to be absolutely conscious of the heat. This far south, the heat plus humidity can team up to entirely put the hurt on a body this age. Well for that matter, this level of heat can put the hurt on a man half my age if they aren’t careful. It still amazes me when I see folks laboring on the road or putting on a roof in the middle of all this heat. I just don’t know how in the world they are able to do that; For me, I get out of the A/C inside my home first thing in the afternoon for some fresh air plus a walk. From there, I try to get any other errands done before about 11 in the afternoon. That’s the time when I either do house chores or just spend my time inside the central A/C studying, but for me, it’s not that large a deal. It’s only a few more months before I’ll be able to savor the outdoors all I want; And the heat pump will go back to not having to run night plus day in order to provide the cooling comfort I need.
