So this is the time of year when I honestly get my learning & house chores done, then it’s mid July & where I live, you better have a activity indoors at this time of year, however the only time it’s okay for me to get out of the air conditioning is the early morning or the late evening! Going outside at this time of year around here can be dangerous for an old woman like me.
I’m now just about to be 69, while I’m in enjoyable shape for this age, I still have to be honestly conscious of the heat. This far south, the heat & humidity can team up to honestly put the hurt on a body this age. Well for that matter, this level of heat can put the hurt on a lady half my age if they aren’t careful. It still amazes me when I see folks working on the road or putting on a roof in the middle of all this heat. I just don’t know how in the world they are able to do that, for me, I get out of the air conditioning inside my loft first thing in the morning for some fresh air & a walk. From there, I try to get any other errands done before about 11 in the morning. That’s the time when I either do apartment chores or just spend my time inside the central air conditioning learning! But for me, it’s not that big a deal. It’s only a few more months before I’ll be able to care about the outdoors all I want! And the heat pump will go back to not having to run evening & day in order to supply the cooling comfort I need.
