During the conference I was attending, I was also to put the name of the heating business I work for out there.
I was so nervous on the day of the meeting, so I decided to talk about the importance of having heater maintenance since it was my area of expertise as a heating technician. Being an HVAC serviceman, I had to talk about how having regular checkups on your heating equipment could save your electric heat pump from a breakdown. Most people only call the dealership when there is a severe system malfunction and an intense boiler repair is inevitable. I talked about the advantages of having a HEPA filter. I was incredibly excited to talk about the zone control system, a significant technological advancement in the industry that could be installed alongside the existing electric heating system. When an electric HVAC is installed by a qualified HVAC specialist, it saves energy, reducing the amount paid for the energy bills. I also discussed how your temperature control system could save money and energy consumption. For instance, a wireless thermostat saves up to 10% of the energy utilized in a year. The talk would only be complete by giving the listener some energy-saving tips they could apply back home. I started very nervously, but when I started talking about what I was good at and how it impacted our homes, I started enjoying the talk. I even had fun while talking about heat pump installation. After the conference, we got some calls from people who attended it and wanted the HVAC products for sale. It worked as a great advertisement platform for our business.
