Gloria needs to call her dad as it has been weeks since they talked. His sibling is dying soon and Gloria feels he has been feeling a bit down about it, so she is giving him time to digest it as it is a big thing losing a sibling who you are close to. Gloria has been living away from her dad for 7 years now and it is difficult going back to the household to visit because she can see him aging each time she returns. It’s true everyone is aging but it is tougher seeing your dear dad get old. HVAC system repairs was dad’s task for many years, however now he is retired and spends a lot of their time in his hometown and he doesn’t get to see each other so much anymore. It is sad that they are so far apart, however Gloria’s dreams have brought her over here and she has to give them a shot before throwing in the towel and moving back to her hometown. She works for a local business in the neighborhood here and they keep her pretty tied up during the week. But on the weekends Gloria plays music in a band and she is trying to do a big tour of the country in a year or so. Her and her bandmates are cooling techs and work together at the local business during the day. At night, they practice some on the streets and record their music to upload online for their small fan base.
