My husband & I are not able to have children of our own, so my buddy and I have pets instead. My friend and I have five pets, & I could not imagine life without them. They honestly are our babies. Four out of our five pets are quite large, so trying to make a space for them in the apartment was quite difficult. My husband decided to build a huge pet apartment for them a couple of years ago, & it is quite elaborate. It has two stories with some cool toys for the pets to play with. The only issue with it was that it did not have any type of air conditioning. It may sound crazy to all the people that my buddy and I like our pets to have air conditioning in the summertime, however it certainly gets above a hundred degrees here almost every day from August to October. Our pets just get legitimately warm out in their house, so my husband decided that he was going to get them some air conditioning. I thought he meant that he was going to go to the store & buy some air conditioning units, however that is not what he had in mind. He was going to take our seasoned window units & rebuild them to put in the pet house. I knew he would be able to do it because he is crazy wonderful at rebuilding just about anything he can get his hands on. In less than two weeks, he had two cooling systems built & installed in the pet house. I could not believe how well they worked to keep the pet apartment cool! Now, our pets can happily stay in their pet apartment even on the hottest afternoons of the year.
