When I was growing up in the south, I didn’t come from a very fortunate family.
When I would have friends from school, wanting to come over, I didn’t invite them in because we never had central heating and cooling my house. To my parents it was an unnecessary expense to them. They always said that it was easier for them to use the ceiling fans or portable fans than to have central cooling running. Even in the winter we would have to put extra layers on or turn on the portable space heaters. Now that I have my own home, and completed my education, I landed a really good job. By the age of 23 I was able to purchase a home. I made sure that my home had its own central heating and cooling. I also made sure to have my HVAC system new and updated. When I had the HVAC technician install the new HVAC system, he told me that it is extremely important to have ventilation in my home. When there is poor ventilation in a home, there is a greater chance of contaminants to grow and live in your home that can lead to health and comfort problems. The technician said that him and his company recommend that there should be enough ventilation where the air should be exchanged every four hours inside the home. He recommended adding more air registers in the home to help with some ventilation. I agreed and let him to continue inspect and clean my HVAC system.
