We just can’t seem to keep up

Life took a serious turn last Summer and it seems we have been in a tailspin ever since.

Between losing my job and my mom being sick it seems like we just can’t seem to make ends meet.

Doctor appointments, the kids school schedules and interviews seem to take up all of my time. I guess this is the reason I forgot to check on the furnace when I was supposed to. I knew at the end of last season it was failing and thought I would be able to arrange for the repairs before we needed it again. Now, I am not only not in a position to pay for any service I don’t really have the time either. Even with the special deals on tune ups and such that the local companies are offering I am still in a bind. I think I am going to go to one of those online sites and see if there is a technician willing to do side work for a lesser fee. I know this is a risk because I have no way of knowing if they are on the up and up, but I just don’t have a choice at this point. My neighbor is willing to meet the person and oversee the job which is good because timewise I don’t know how I would swing it either. I just need to make sure that we have heat for the winter and maybe next year things will turn around. My hope is that I find the perfect job and mom’s health improves so that I can find time to breathe.
