My partner and I just got a new furnace, and wow, has it made a difference in the temperature of our house.
Our outdated furnace started having trouble about six months ago, and my good friend and I knew that it would not be long before my good friend and I would have to get a new one.
One of my partner’s best friends is an Heating and A/C serviceman, and he came over and let us know what was wrong with our furnace. He basically told us to plan to buy a new furnace. I am super thankful that my good friend and I knew ahead of time because it cost quite a bit of money to get a new furnace installed. I was sort of hoping that he was wrong though. It would have been nice if the outdated furnace would have kept on running for another year or so, even though I guess that wasn’t meant to be. My associate and I bought the new furnace, and I could not think how moderate our apartment was. That just tells me how bad our other furnace was. My associate and I had the thermostat set to seventy-five degrees with our outdated furnace, however there was no way that it was ever that moderate in the house. It felt more like it was sixty-five degrees if that. Now that my good friend and I have a new furnace, I don’t set the thermostat to seventy-five anymore because it entirely gets the apartment up to temperature, and seventy-five degrees is a bit moderate for our family’s preferences. I am certainly glad that it is moderate though. I don’t miss feeling freezing in the house. I am glad that my good friend and I don’t have to worry about the furnace quitting anymore either. That was no fun.
