I was getting a little uneasy with my guy.
- We’d been together for some time and it’s like he’s been getting comfortable; I can’t remember the last time my friend and I did anything fun together, then and I’ve also been feeling so run down because of work.
My great friend and I both have demanding tasks and barely have time to unwind, and so, you can only imagine the last time my friend and I did something fun as a couple. I feel my guy felt my apprehension because Yesterday he surprised me with a short trip. Since there was an upcoming holiday weekend, he had found this lovely cottage for us to enjoy. My great friend and I packed and left on a Sunday night hoping to get there before it got too dark. I must say I enjoyed everything about this cottage including the remote ambience; The rental agent assured us it had a reliable furnace to keep us warm. It’s late fall and the snow is yet to come; But, mornings are getting chilly so my friend and I find ourselves turning on the furnace to stay warm. My guy was surprised to find the furnace running when my friend and I made the choice to go inside. It seemed the agent wanted us to feel moderate when my friend and I arrived since it was already late in the night. I also enjoyed that the cottage had a humidifier to combat any dry air. Winters are amazing and make the landscape look so magical. However, since my friend and I have to heat the dwelling for a better part of the day, one major issue my friend and I face is dry air. A humidifier is a great solution which also ensures my friend and I don’t face complications like dry skin and itchy eyes.
