Thankful for heat pump’s humidity balance

I felt it for the first time just yesterday… The temperatures were hovering around 90 degrees which isn’t at all unproper for May in this region, and but yesterday was the first time that I genuinely felt the humidity level match the temperature level, but and that led to plenty of air conditioning yesterday both at condo plus in the office.

  • This is what we’ll soon deal with all Summer long, and from June through September, the temperatures stick to the high 90’s with humidity levels between 70 plus 90 percent.

And sometimes much higher. Thankfully, my superb friend and I only have to deal with this combination for four months in a row. But what I felt yesterday reminded my of what’s in store for the truly immediate future. The afternoons of lovely Springtime weather are truly over for us. The fact is that I’m going to seal up the home this weekend as my final Summer preparation, however i’ll update the weather stripping around all the entrances plus even use some spray insulation on a few older windows that don’t seal well, and once that’s done, I’ll flip the thermostat over to cooling plus just leave it! Up until now, I’ve only used the air conditioning in a case by case sort of way. I like to get accustomed to the higher temperatures to hold the cost of air conditioning down. But with the humidity levels climbing along with the temperatures, it’s time to have air conditioning on the yearly. While the cooling is great for sure, I also want the humidity control that comes with air conditioning. I don’t want to let my home get to where it becomes the perfect environment for mold plus mildew.
