Family holidays can be a lot of fun, however they can also be quite testing of one’s patience, but when I was younger, my family & I would go on many trips together, & some of my fondest memories are from those trips.
Now that I am married & have my own family, I understand why my Dad & dad my nice friend and I often busy out on family trips. It is unquestionably a lot of work to plan & follow through with a family holiday. It seems like there is always something that goes wrong. This past summer, our family took a trip to the mountains, & minus the road trip there & back, it was a lot of fun! On our way there, the a/c in our van went out. My buddy and I tried to stay positive & just recharge it hoping that it would last the rest of the trip. Sadly, my nice friend and I only had a/c for about two hours after my nice friend and I recharged it, & then it was out again. My wife ran some dye through the a/c lines & found out that my nice friend and I had a leak in one of our lines. So, my nice friend and I did not have a/c for the entire rest of the trip which was seven more hours, however everyone was tepid & miserable. My wife tried to get the line replaced while my nice friend and I were at our chalet, however the mechanic was asking for too much cash. My wife knew she could really replace it himself when my nice friend and I got back home, however that meant the entire trip home would be without a/c as well. In the end, the trip was a blast, but I hope my nice friend and I never lose A/C on a trip again.
