Beth didn’t know her folks had left the condo and told the Heating, Ventilation & A/C expert she was still there.
They had said they had to leave, but she thought they would leave after the Heating, Ventilation & A/C expert left.
They could have told her she was still there, and she would soon be done. Beth dressed and was getting ready to leave when she called out from the lounge. Beth walked into the lounge, and she was getting ready to call the police. When she saw the Heating, Ventilation & A/C expert, she put her cellphone down and walked into the home office. Beth told her she thought she was gone, since her folks had left. The lady explained they had told her she was still at the beach house and she should call out before leaving. She wanted to give Beth the bill and explanation of what she had done to the gas furnace. Beth thanked her for the paperwork and told her she had to leave. If she wasn’t out the door in the next ten minutes, she would be late for work, and the hospital didn’t love it when the doctors were late. Later that evening, Beth was busy in the emergency room, when someone said the a/c wasn’t toiling. The air quality sucked without the Heating, Ventilation & A/C system toiling. Beth looked down the hall when someone said it was about time the Heating, Ventilation & A/expert got there. She saw the Heating, Ventilation & A/C expert who was at her beach house earlier that day. She waved, and Beth waved back. Later that evening, they ate supper together. It was nice to see her again when they had time to sit and chat.
