I showed her to the gas furnace room

She didn’t know why, but the breaker switch had flipped, and the gas furnace wasn’t getting any power

I called the Heating, Ventilation & A/C supplier and inquired if they could tell me what’s wrong with the gas furnace? The woman laughed, and then she said that was what the Heating, Ventilation & A/C business was for. I took a breath and said that wasn’t what I meant to say. I wanted to know if they had a Heating, Ventilation & A/C expert available that could tell me what’s wrong with the gas furnace. She said they had 1 that was on the road, but neither were close to my house. If I didn’t mind waiting half an hour, she had another Heating, Ventilation & A/C expert who would be on duty, and she could send him to the condo directly. I thanked her, and gave her all the information so the Heating, Ventilation & A/C expert would know where I lived, with the full name and address. When the Heating, Ventilation & A/C expert arrived, she told me she was there to diagnose my gas furnace. The dispatcher had told her this was her first task for the day. I showed her to the gas furnace room, and I told her the gas furnace would not turn on. She said it wasn’t chilly outside, and maybe the thermostat temperature was set too low to trigger the gas furnace turning on. I told her I knew nothing about gas furnaces, and if she could do anything to get some heat in the house, I would be glad. She went downstairs and looked at the gas furnace. She told me she found the problem. She didn’t know why, but the breaker switch had flipped, and the gas furnace wasn’t getting any power. She fixed the breaker and said everything should work well now.
