When Isabella was five-years-old, she remembered asking her dad if she could work on cooling systems when she got older.
Her dad told her he was sure there would be cooling systems when he got old, but they may be different. Isabella didn’t care what the cooling systems were going to be the same, as long as she could be an Heating, Ventilation & A/C expert and work with her dad. By the time she turned 18, her aspirations hadn’t changed. Isabella still wanted to be an Heating, Ventilation & A/C expert and work with her dad. Isabella’s dad wasn’t an Heating, Ventilation & A/C expert, but he was the owner of the Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation. Isabella told him she wanted to go to Heating, Ventilation & A/C school and join his Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation when she was certified. He promised that if she passed all her tests and got her certification, he would be proud to have her as one of his Heating, Ventilation & A/C experts. Two months ago, Isabella passed her certification exam, and once she gets her certificate, her dad is going to put her in his apprenticeship program. Isabella could not wait to become a full-fledged Heating, Ventilation & A/C expert and work side-by-side with her dad. Once she got into the program, she still wasn’t working with her dad. Now, Isabella was working with Uncle Tom, and he was her mentor. He told her she needed to learn the ropes and soon she could work alone. At that point, if she needed help, she could call dad and ask him if he would show her what she was doing wrong. The progression of her being a full Heating, Ventilation & A/C expert was slow, but Isabella is still working with her dad.
