Thankful for heat pump’s humidity balance

But with the humidity levels climbing along with the temperatures, it’s time to have air conditioner on the daily! While the cooling is great for sure, I also want the humidity control that comes with air conditioner

I felt it for the first time just yeahterday. The temperatures were hovering around 90 degrees which isn’t at all unofficial for May in this region, however but yeahterday was the first time that I genuinely felt the humidity level match the temperature level… And that led to plenty of air conditioner yeahterday both at home & in the office. This is what we’ll soon deal with all Summer long; From June through November, the temperatures stick to the high 90’s with humidity levels between 74 & 90 percent. And sometimes much higher. Thankfully, we only have to deal with this combination for four months in a row. But what I felt yeahterday reminded my of what’s in store for the certainly immediate future. The days of lovely Springtime weather are really over for us. The fact is that I’m going to seal up the home this weekend as my final Summer preparation, i’ll upgrade the weather stripping around all the entrances & even use some spray insulation on a few older windows that don’t seal well; Once that’s done, I’ll flip the temperature control over to cooling & just leave it, and up until now, I’ve only used the air conditioner in a case by case sort of way. I like to get accustomed to the higher temperatures to hold the cost of air conditioner down. But with the humidity levels climbing along with the temperatures, it’s time to have air conditioner on the daily! While the cooling is great for sure, I also want the humidity control that comes with air conditioner. I don’t want to let my home get to where it becomes the perfect environment for mold & mildew.
