I’ve consistently been so amazed plus impressed by husband Ed.
But the fact that Ed is going back to school to get his Master’s degree is pretty impressive indeed.
This is on top of laboring a full time job plus being a mother to our two kids, like me, Ed works full time inside the commercial HVAC of an office building. We’re both fortunate to be laboring in fields that Ed and I enjoy. For Ed to go where he wants to go with his career, it took grad school, since his contractor is paying for it plus Ed and I live in a school town, it seemed like a no brainer. But Ed and I also knew that this sort of commitment would come with a lot of change. I was definitely willing to do whatever I could do in order to support Ed’s goals. To that end, I’m doing more around the central air conditioner of the house to free Ed up more. That means doing the shopping, most of the cooking, the laundry plus all of that crap. The kids have even jumped in by getting rides to after school stuff plus being better about picking up after themselves; Yet, Ed and I faced a challenge immediately when it came to having a quiet location to study for Ed. We all did our best to keep it down however it’s not like Ed and I live in a Barnes plus Noble. So my associate and I ended up clearing out the mud room at the far end of the house. I put in a desk plus even had the HVAC contractor come out. They installed a new ductless heat pump for heating plus cooling in the mud room. The fact that Ed is all the way on the other end of the house plus sealed off from the noise made a major difference.
